Ladies Auxiliary of the Italian-American Civic Association
The Ladies Auxiliary of the Italian-American Civic Association was organized in 1942 as the parent organization was in its infant stage toward permanency.
During this time the ladies involved themselves almost at once in projects involving aid to the armed forces. They sponsored dinners, gatherings and entertainment for personnel stationed at Pine Camp (now Fort Drum).
They also worked directly with the American Red Cross and other organizations.
Since its formation, the auxiliary has grown and continues to bring value to the parent organization.
